Phulora is tucked away on the 4th floor of Shastri Hall on Grant Road. Being in room 403 means we aren't right on the street like most other places, which is a bit different. You have to take the lift or climb the stairs to find us. Grant Road is always noisy and full of traffic, but once you get up to the fourth floor, it gets a little quieter, even though you can still hear the horns honking down below. The space isn't huge, so we have to be really organized with our buckets and crates. It often looks like a bit of a disaster zone with ribbons and wrapping paper scattered around, especially during the middle of a busy day. We spend a lot of time just checking the water levels and making sure the flowers stay cool enough. There is a lot of history in this building, and we’ve become a part of it over the years. Sometimes the lift stops working, and we have to carry everything up by hand, which is definitely not the fun part of the job. We don’t try to be a high-end boutique or anything like that. We are just a small team working out of a building in a busy neighborhood. It’s practical work, and we just handle whatever comes our way. We don't have a fancy showroom, just a workspace where we get the job done every day.
