Pelf Exports

Our office is located at 5-A, Dharamsi Cross Lane in the Bhendi Bazar area. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how busy and crowded it gets. Pelf Exports has been right here in these lanes for many years. It is a small place and the building is quite old, but it is where all our work happens. We deal with exports, which basically means we spend our days looking at manifests and talking to people about shipping containers. It is a noisy environment with all the street sounds coming through the windows, but we don't mind it much. We have a few simple desks and some old chairs, and the walls are covered with notes we’ve scribbled over the years. We aren't a big company with a lot of hierarchy. It’s just us working together to make sure the goods get to where they are supposed to go. Sometimes the traffic in Bhendi Bazar makes it hard to get things moved quickly, so we have to plan around the busiest times of the day. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just rely on the work we do and the people we know in the trade. It is a very traditional way of working, and it has stayed that way for a long time. We just keep our heads down and get the job done without making any big fuss about it.
