Payal Chellani

Payal Chellani is run from Flat 603 in the A Wing of Red Rose, which is over in Andheri West. We are pretty close to the Lakshmi Industrial Estate, so the area stays busy all through the day. It’s a residential building, not one of those tall glass towers you see in other parts of the city. We’ve been here for a good while now, just doing our daily work from this flat. It’s not a big fancy office with a lobby or anything like that. It’s just a straightforward space where we handle everything. Most days it’s just us keeping up with the tasks that come in. People usually find us because we’re near the industrial estate landmark, which is helpful since the lanes can get a bit confusing for someone who isn't from around here. The wing is generally quiet, though you can hear the city noise from the balcony if the traffic is heavy. We don't have a huge team or a lot of complicated systems. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of things that need doing. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, but we don’t mind too much. It’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We like the location because it’s practical and easy for us to manage. It’s just a local business, nothing too polished or corporate about it. We just do what we do and try to keep things organized. That’s how we’ve always operated here.
