Pathan Insurance & Company

We are located over at Wadala Vrajraj Society, which is near Building No 24. If you know where Wadala Station is, we aren't too far from there on Dabhoi Dashalad Bhavan Road. The office is basically just a room full of cabinets and folders because insurance involves a whole lot of paper. We spend most of our time explaining things to people who walk in off the street or call us up with questions about their claims. It’s quiet sometimes, then suddenly three people show up at once. The society is usually busy with kids playing or people coming home from the station. We’ve got a couple of old fans that make a lot of noise but they keep the air moving. Dealing with insurance isn't always exciting, but it’s what we do. We help people fill out forms because the language on those things can be confusing for anyone. Sometimes we have to go out to meet clients or look at something, so the office might be closed for an hour. We try to be around as much as possible though. The street outside can get pretty jammed up with traffic, especially near the station area. We've been in this spot for a while now and most of the neighbors know us. It’s just a small operation, nothing like those big corporate offices in the city. We just sit here, do the filings, and help out whoever stops by. It’s a lot of reading and writing, but it keeps us busy and the office stays running. It is a humble setup but we get through the work.
