B K General Agency is located over in Antop Hill, specifically in Vardharaj Nagar. It’s a neighborhood where everyone seems to know what's going on with everyone else. Our place is more of a warehouse setup than a proper store. We deal with a lot of bulk items and supplies that go out to different shops around the area. Early in the morning, trucks pull up and boxes get moved around. It’s a lot of lifting and counting. We have these big ledgers where we write everything down because sometimes the computer is too slow or just acts up. The air in Antop Hill can get a bit heavy, but we have a couple of old fans that keep things moving inside. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of cardboard dust and tape dispensers clacking all day long. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the paperwork and take calls. Most of the people we deal with are regular customers who have been buying from us for years. We don't really do any advertising. We just stay busy with the orders that come in. Sometimes the neighborhood kids play cricket right outside our gate, and we have to tell them to move when a delivery arrives. It’s just how life is here in this part of town. We keep things simple and just keep moving through the day. There is always more to unload.
