Magnetron Insurance & Consultants Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Navkar Chambers in Andheri East. Our office is B/107 and it sits right on Nikol Road, which is almost always jammed with cars and bikes. We are directly opposite the Municipal Office and Sm Centre, so there is no shortage of people moving around outside. Inside the office, it is mostly the sound of keyboards and the hum of the air conditioner trying to fight the Mumbai humidity. We deal with insurance papers all day long, checking names and numbers and making sure all the stamps are in the right place. People come in to ask about their car policies or what happens if they get sick. We have stacks of forms on every desk and we spend a lot of time on the phone with the head offices. It is a typical office life with a lunch break where we all sit together and talk about the local news or the commute home. Being across from the municipal office means we see a lot of people coming and going for their own work. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights, just a plain door in the hallway of Navkar Chambers. We keep the files organized as best as we can in the metal cabinets along the wall. By the time evening rolls around, we are just finishing up the last of the emails before heading out into the traffic.
