Our unit, which is part of Parle Agro, is situated right on the Western Express Highway in Andheri East. If you know Mumbai, you know that the Western Express Highway is basically the main artery of the city. We see the traffic crawling by all day long from our spot. It’s a big, busy area and being in Andheri East means we are right where everything is happening. The building is large and has that industrial, practical feel to it. We don't spend much time on the "About Us" stuff usually because we’re too busy with the day-to-day operations. Inside, it’s a lot of people moving around, clipboard in hand, checking on things. We have a cafeteria that serves basic food, and that’s where most of the actual talking happens. It’s not a shiny corporate glass box; it’s a place where things get made and moved. The humidity can be a bit much, and the noise from the highway is constant, but you stop noticing it after a week or two. We just focus on the logistics and the production side of things. There’s no mission statement on the wall, just some safety posters and a clock that’s five minutes fast. We show up, do the work, and then join the traffic on the highway to head home. It’s a straightforward life here in Andheri. The rain makes the commute even longer, but we are all used to that by now.
