We are located at 111, Brij Kutir on Neapeansea Road. This is an old part of Mumbai and the building has a lot of character. It’s not one of those new glass towers. Our office is quiet, which is nice considering how loud the rest of the city can be. We’ve been here at number 68 for a very long time. Most of the people working here have been with the Parikh family for decades. It feels more like a household than a big company. We handle various business interests from this small office. There is a lot of old furniture and the smell of paper everywhere. We don't really have a front desk or a formal waiting area. If someone comes to see us, they usually just walk in and find whoever they are looking for. The view of the street from the windows is mostly just trees and old walls. It is a very prestigious area, but our daily life is quite humble. We spend our days going through accounts and managing properties or investments. It’s steady work that requires a lot of attention. We don't like to rush things. There is a certain way we do things here that hasn’t changed much over the years. We just focus on being reliable and showing up every day to do the job. It’s a simple existence in a busy city. Most of us take the bus or walk to get here.
