If you go to Natraj Market in Malad West, you will find Parekh Export at unit 223. It is right on S.V. Road, which is almost always packed with people and heavy traffic. Our space is tucked away inside the market, surrounded by many other small shops and businesses. We have been here for quite a while now, dealing with exports and all the work that comes with it. It is a lot of back and forth with suppliers and making sure the quality is actually what it should be. The market feels like a maze to some, but once you find us, it is just a small office filled with fabric samples and old ledgers. We do not have a big showroom to display things. Most of our work is done over the phone or through emails these days. Still, we like having a physical base in Malad. It feels more real than just working from home. We handle different types of goods, mostly checking that everything is packed correctly before it leaves for its destination. It is a lot of detail work that keeps us busy. Sometimes the monsoon rains make getting to the market a bit of a challenge, but we still open up every morning. We are not a giant corporation with hundreds of employees.
