Paramount General Stores

Paramount General Stores is located at Shop No D/7 in the Veer Jijamata Naga area of Worli. We are right in the main market, not too far from the Nehru Science Centre. If you walk through the market, you will probably see us. It is a typical local store where we keep a bit of everything on the shelves. We have been serving the people around here for a long time. Our space is a bit cramped because we try to fit in as much stock as possible, so you have to watch your step. We sell daily essentials and things that families in the neighborhood need. It gets really busy in the mornings and evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the delivery truck is late, but we try to get things back in stock as soon as we can. It’s just a family-run kind of place. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their names. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just a shop where you can get what you need and have a quick chat before heading home. Working in the Worli main market means there is never a dull moment. We stay open late most days to make sure people coming home from work can grab what they forgot. It is a simple life, but we like being part of the community here.
