Paragon Exports

Our office is up on the 4th floor of the Onlooker Building. If you know Sir P.M. Road, you know how crowded it gets with all the cars and people rushing around Fort. It’s an old building, the kind where you can feel the history in the walls and the stairs. We spend most of our time dealing with heaps of paperwork and talking to people on the phone about shipping schedules. There are boxes stacked in the corners, mostly samples or things waiting to be sent out. It’s not a quiet place because there’s always someone typing or a courier knocking on the door. We’ve been operating out of this space for a long time, and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building, like how the light hits the desks in the late afternoon. We handle various goods for export, and it’s a lot of back-and-forth with customs and transport guys. Sometimes the lift doesn't work right, so we end up walking the four floors, which is a bit of a workout. We don't do much in the way of decoration; the walls are mostly covered in calendars and old maps. It’s just a place where work gets done, and we try to keep track of everything so nothing gets lost in transit across the ocean. The traffic outside is always loud, but we’ve learned to ignore it while we sort out the latest manifests for our clients.
