Our office is way up on the 20th floor of the Nirmal Building in Nariman Point. It’s a very different vibe from the farms where our milk actually comes from. Being in South Mumbai means we are right in the middle of all the big business talk and the sea breeze. The view from the window is mostly of other tall buildings and a bit of the ocean if you look the right way. We spend our days here managing the logistics and the corporate side of the dairy business. It’s a lot of meetings, spreadsheets, and phone calls to our different plants. Even though it’s a high-rise office, it still feels like a dairy company inside. We have samples of our cheese and milk products around the break room. The elevators can take a while in the morning because the Nirmal Building is always full of people going to different floors. We try to keep things grounded, even if we are twenty floors up. The pace is fast here, much like the rest of Mumbai. We don't have time for anything too fancy, just the regular office work that keeps the wheels turning. Most of us commute from quite far away, so the office is where we spend the bulk of our day. It’s a professional space but we try to keep it friendly and relaxed for the staff.
