Paradise Minerals

Our office is on the second floor of Runwal Heights, right on LBS Marg in Mumbai. It is a pretty busy spot with all the traffic on the main road below us. We have been in this building for quite some time now. Dealing with minerals from a city office means a lot of coordination between the mines and the buyers. We have maps and charts pinned to the walls and usually a few rock samples sitting on the windowsills. It is not a huge space, but it fits the few of us who work here. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because of the Mumbai heat. We get a lot of couriers coming in and out with documents and small packets. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we get a bit of exercise walking up to the second floor. LBS Marg is always loud, so we have gotten used to the sound of horns and engines in the background while we talk on the phone. We do not have any big corporate signs or fancy furniture. It is mostly just functional desks and old computers that we have had for years. We stay busy with the paperwork and making sure the logistics for the mineral shipments are sorted out. It is a straightforward operation and we like being in this part of the city because everything is accessible and the neighbors are all working hard too.
