You can find us at 4/33,4 in the Khumbhawada area of Girgaon. We are situated right opposite the Round Temple, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Being in Khumbhawada means we are surrounded by a lot of traditional work and history. The streets are narrow and always full of activity. Our daily routine involves a lot of hands-on work with different materials. It's the kind of place where you’re going to get some dirt on your clothes if you stay too long. We have been working out of this spot for quite some time. The building itself is old, but it has character. We don't spend money on fancy decorations for the shop because the work we do is what matters. Most of our neighbors are doing similar things, so there's a real sense of a working neighborhood here. When the sun goes down, the area changes a bit, but we’re usually still finishing up whatever needs to be done for the next day. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning. It’s a workshop where things actually get made. We talk to people from all over who come looking for specific items near the temple. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work, especially when it’s humid, but we manage. We just like making things and staying busy in this part of town. It is noisy and crowded, but it is our home.
