You can find us over at Premalaya on 16th Road, Tps 111, right here in Bandra. It’s a nice enough spot, though the parking around 16th Road is always a bit of a nightmare. Our workspace is inside the Premalaya building, and it’s usually filled with sketches, fabric swatches, and half-finished projects. Bandra has a lot of energy, and we definitely feel that in our daily routine. We aren't some big, faceless company. It’s just us doing the work every day. Some mornings we start late because we were working into the night, but that’s just how the creative process goes for us. We don't have a polished showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have shelves that are a bit cluttered and desks covered in pins and needles. We’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time, so we know the neighbors and the local chai wallah quite well. It’s an informal atmosphere where we speak our minds and get the job done. Sometimes the humidity in Bandra makes the fabric act funny, but we’ve learned how to handle it. We don't spend time on fancy speeches or trying to look bigger than we are. We’re just here at Premalaya, making things that we think look good. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but it’s our mess and we like it. There is always something new to finish before the sun goes down and we head home.
