Om Shree International

If you ever find yourself wandering around Andheri East, you’ll know how busy the New India Industrial Estate gets. Our little corner is at Plot 33, specifically at number 115. It’s a hectic place with trucks constantly moving in and out and people shouting across the loading bays. Om Shree International has been based here for some time, and the walls of our office have seen a lot of long afternoons. We aren't really into those modern office setups with bean bags or coffee machines. We have a few old desks, some sturdy chairs, and a lot of paperwork that never seems to end. Off Mahakali Caves Road, the traffic is usually a mess, so we tend to get in early and stay until the sun starts to go down. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking lists of what’s coming into the warehouse. We deal with all sorts of items, and the variety keeps things interesting, even if the routine is mostly the same. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there and wait, or we head down to the little stall nearby for some hot tea. It’s just regular work with regular people. We try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible without making too much of a fuss. It’s an honest way to spend the week, and we’ve gotten used to the noise.
