Nuts About U

We are tucked away in the Shashidhar Building at Cumballa Hill, specifically in Flat No 10. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s much quieter than the main markets downtown. Nuts About U is our small operation where we handle nuts, dry fruits, and that sort of thing for our customers. It’s not a big warehouse, just a room where we keep everything sorted, weighed, and packed. We spend a lot of time sitting at the table making sure the bags are sealed properly so nothing goes stale. The smell of roasted almonds or cashews is usually hanging in the air, which isn't a bad way to spend the day. We don’t have a shop front with big glass windows or displays. Most people find out about us through word of mouth or by just knowing we are here in the building. It’s a bit of a family thing, so you might see my nephew or my sister helping out after their other jobs are done. We keep things pretty simple. We don't use fancy branding or expensive boxes, just good quality stuff in plain packaging that does the job. Sometimes we get a big order for a wedding and the whole place gets crowded with crates and boxes for a few days. We try to keep things tidy but it’s hard when space is limited. We get our stock from various suppliers and do the sorting here.
