Tropical Foods

We are based at 301, Kalpana Apts on Talmaki Road. It’s right in the middle of Saraswat Colony. If you live around here, you know the vibe. It’s mostly families and quiet streets. We call ourselves Tropical Foods, but it’s not some big corporation with a skyscraper. It’s just us working out of this apartment. We’ve turned a couple of the rooms into a workspace where we sort and pack things. It gets a bit crowded with all the crates and bags lying around. Sometimes the hallway is blocked with boxes waiting for the courier. We’ve been here for a good few years now. The morning sun hits the balcony where we keep some of the drier stock. It’s a simple routine. We get in, check what needs to be sent out, and start working. We don’t have a fancy receptionist or anything like that. Usually, you’ll just find one of us on the phone or taping up a box. We use local stuff mostly. The neighbors are used to us by now, though the delivery trucks sometimes block their cars for a minute. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We don’t spend money on big ads or shiny brochures. We just do the work and hope people like what they get. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just part of running a real business from an apartment. Anyway, that is what we do here.
