Our office is up on the ninth floor, specifically 902 Ventura in Hiranandani Gardens. Being on Main Street in Powai means there is always something happening right outside the windows. It’s a modern building, but inside our specific unit, it feels like any other place where people are trying to get their work finished before the weekend. We spend a lot of time in meetings or just staring at spreadsheets. The commute for most of us involves a lot of traffic, so by the time we sit down at our desks, we’re usually ready for a strong coffee. It’s a professional environment, sure, but we still have our moments of joking around the water cooler. The view from Ventura is decent, looking out over the streets of Hiranandani. We have a lot of different departments tucked into this space, so it can get a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once. We don't have any fancy mission statements hanging on the walls; we just have calendars and task lists. It’s a lot of coordination and emails back and forth. Even though the company is big, this specific office feels like its own little world. We deal with the daily grind of deadlines and technical glitches just like anyone else. It’s a busy spot in a busy part of Mumbai, and we’re just another group of people working through the day until the lights go out.
