Our place is on the 4th floor of Sangrajka House, which is located at 431, Dr D.B Marg. If you know Mumbai, you know this area is always on the move. Normex Valves has been operating out of this office for quite a while. The building is one of those older structures with a lot of character, and the elevator is a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. The office itself is full of catalogs, technical drawings, and stacks of paper. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time talking to engineers or checking on production schedules. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. The noise from Dr D.B Marg is constant, a mix of buses, cars, and people shouting, but it becomes background noise after a while. We have a small pantry where we make our own tea, and the sunlight comes in through the windows in the morning, which is nice. We aren't big on corporate meetings or fancy presentations. We usually just sit around the main table and figure things out. It’s a simple way of working. Most of us have been here for years, so we’re more like a small family than just coworkers. It’s just a regular office in a busy part of the city.
