We are based out of the Tex Center, specifically in the L-Wing on the first floor. It is Unit No. 1. If you know Chandivali Farm Road in Andheri East, you know how hectic the traffic can be around here. Our office and work area aren’t really meant for showing off. It’s a place where work actually happens. We have rolls of fabric leaning against the walls and the sound of machines is pretty constant throughout the day. It’s a bit of a walk up, but once you’re here, it’s all business. We have been in Andheri East for some time now and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial area. The space is functional. We have long tables for cutting and chairs that have seen better days. It's not a showroom where everything is sparkling. It's a garment unit. We focus on getting the orders done and making sure the stitching is decent. The light coming through the windows in the afternoon is actually quite nice, even if the view is just other buildings and trucks. Most of our day is spent coordinating between the cutters and the tailors. It gets loud and sometimes it’s a bit messy with threads and scraps on the floor. We just clean it up at the end of the shift and start again the next morning. It’s a lot of hard work but it keeps us going and keeps the business moving forward.
