Nirzar Nursary

Nirzar Nursary has its main office at 503 in the Ashirwad Building. We’re right across from the CCI and very close to Churchgate Station. If you’ve ever been to that part of town, you know it’s always crowded and there’s a lot of energy in the air. Our office is on the fifth floor, so it’s a bit removed from the noise of the street, though you can still hear the trains every now and then. It’s a bit of an older building, which we actually quite like. It has some character and doesn't feel like those cold, modern towers. Inside, the office is pretty simple. We have a couple of desks, some phones, and lots of notes about different plant varieties and gardening projects. Since we’re a nursery, we spend a lot of time talking about greenery even though we’re sitting in a concrete building in the city. Most of our work involves coordinating deliveries or planning out new landscapes for people. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. We aren't big on corporate hierarchy or anything like that. We just focus on the plants and the people who want them. Sometimes the elevator in the building is a bit slow, so we end up waiting around, but it gives us a chance to chat with the other people in the building. It’s just a regular, working-class office in a very busy part of Mumbai. We’ve been here at 503 for a while now, and it feels like home to us.
