Our office is in the Antophill area of Wadala, over at office A 356. It’s pretty close to the Barkat Ali Dargah, so that’s the landmark we always give people. If you’re coming by train, Wadala Road station is the best bet, though it’s still a bit of a ride from there. The building is a typical commercial block with a lot of different businesses. We handle export work, so there’s always a lot of talk about containers, ports, and weight certificates. The air is a bit salty being so close to the eastern side of the city. We have a few fans that hum all day long because it gets quite warm in this part of town. Our office is filled with ledger books and stacks of shipping manifests. We don't have a website guy or a marketing team, just us doing the daily paperwork. There’s a tea stall just outside the main gate where we usually gather in the mornings to discuss the day’s tasks. It’s a quiet enough place compared to the main city, but the Dargah area can get quite crowded on certain days. We’ve been here for many years, so the security guards and the other tenants are all familiar faces. It’s a simple, honest way to earn a living. We keep our heads down and make sure the goods get to where they’re supposed to go without any major delays or headaches for anyone.
