Our office is located at 42/80 in the N.B. Chawl, right on R.B. Marg. This area of Mumbai, near Fre Bandar, is always humming with activity because of the docks and all the shipping going on nearby. Navnitlal & Co.(Exports) Pvt.Ltd. has been operating out of this room for quite some time now. It’s an old building, the kind you find all over this part of the city, with narrow hallways and a lot of history in the walls. We handle export work, which means a lot of paperwork and phone calls to different people. The 400033 zip code is a busy one. You can hear the trucks and the sounds of the port from our windows. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we are used to the noise by now. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It is just desks, files, and people trying to make sure shipments get where they need to go. Marg. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day. There is always a stack of shipping forms somewhere. We try to stay organized but it's a lot of paper moving through here.
