Our office is located at C-1, Block 'G' in the Bandra-Kurla Complex. If you know Bandra (E), you know it is a place that never really stops moving. National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Ltd. sits right in the middle of all that action. It is a large building, and we have quite a few people working across different floors. The atmosphere is generally busy, with a lot of talk about markets and numbers. We do not really do the fancy corporate talk; we just focus on the data and the systems we run. Every day brings a new set of challenges, mostly technical or administrative. We spend a lot of time making sure the platforms stay up and the records are accurate. It is a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one step at a time. The commute to BKC can be a bit of a nightmare with the traffic, so most of us arrive a bit tired, but the coffee helps. We have a mix of people here, some who have been in the industry for decades and some fresh faces. We do not have a lot of time for fluff. The work is demanding, and we just put our heads down and get it done. It is a solid place to work if you like being where the action is. We stay late most nights making sure everything is ready for the next day.
