Nasir Hussain

I've been working out of my place here at 311 Juhu Azad Nagar for a long time now. Most people find it easily because it’s near the New Irla Masjid on Cd Barfiwala Road. My name is Nasir Hussain and this is just where I handle all my daily business. It’s a quiet enough spot inside the cooperative housing society, though Andheri West can get pretty noisy outside the gates. I started doing this because I wanted to work for myself and be close to home. I don't have a big staff or a corporate setup, it’s mostly just me taking care of things as they come. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on my desk, and I spend a few hours just getting organized. People in the neighborhood know they can find me here if they need something. I don’t really use a lot of fancy technology, just a phone and a notebook to keep track of my schedule. It’s a simple way to live and work. The building is older, but it’s comfortable and central for getting around Mumbai when I have to go out. Being in Andheri West means everything is close by, which helps. I like the routine of opening up in the morning and seeing who stops by. It’s not about being the biggest name in town, just about doing a decent day's work and keeping my neighbors happy with whatever help I can provide.
