Naseem Genaral Store

Naseem Genaral Store is located over in the B N Dsouza Compound. We are actually on the first floor, which is a bit different for a general store, but it works for us. We’ve been in this part of Andheri East for some time now. Being in the industrial estate near the 9th cross and 1st stage, we get a lot of workers and people living nearby. It’s right near Lucky Hotel, so that’s an easy landmark if you’re looking for the place. We sell all the usual stuff you’d expect—milk, bread, soaps, and those little things people forget to buy at the big market. The shop isn’t huge, but we try to keep the shelves stocked up. It gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is finishing work and stopping by for snacks or household items. We know most of our customers by name because they live or work right here. It’s just me and a couple of others helping out most days. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we’re shifting boxes around the area, but we manage. It’s a busy life but we like being part of the neighborhood. We don’t have any big signs or anything, just the shop number. People usually find us just by walking past or hearing from a neighbor. We just keep the door open and wait for whoever needs something that day.
