We are based up on the 21st floor of the Nirmal Building in Nariman Point. Being in such a tall building means we get a pretty good view of the city, which is nice when things get stressful at Soex India Pvt. Ltd. Nariman Point is always moving fast. You see people in suits rushing around everywhere. Our office isn't overly fancy, despite the location. It's mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of paperwork piled up. The elevators can take a while during the lunch rush, so we’ve learned to be patient. We’ve been in this building for a long time. It feels a bit different from the smaller shops at street level, but we’re still just people working a job. Most of us take the train in and walk from the station. The wind off the ocean can get quite strong down here. We don't spend much time worrying about branding or how we look to the outside world. We just focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a busy environment, and the phones are usually ringing. Sometimes we stay late to watch the lights come on across the city. It’s a solid place to work, even if it feels a bit tucked away high up in the sky. We have been here for years and it just feels like our regular daily routine now, working away in this big building.
