Nandan Plastics

Our shop, Nandan Plastics, is tucked away in the Vaibhav Industrial Estate at B-101, right on Saki Vihar Road in Andheri East. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know the traffic on Saki Vihar Road is something else. We spend a good chunk of our day just dealing with deliveries getting stuck in that mess. Inside the unit, it’s mostly the sound of machines and the smell of raw materials. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We’re usually in our work clothes, moving crates around or checking on the molds. The space is a bit tight because we have to fit the equipment and the stock all in one area. We’ve been in this estate for years, so we know the other business owners around here pretty well. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just take the orders, run the machines, and try to get the parts out the door on time. Some days the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and those are the long days where we stay late to fix things. It’s just a practical, local business doing what we know how to do. We don't make a big deal out of it; we just show up, do the work, and go home to our families at night. That's the way it's been for a long time now.
