Nisha Garments

Nisha Garments is located at No. 78 on the second floor. We are inside the Vishal Industrial Estate in Nahur. Being on the second floor means we don’t get as much walk-in traffic as the ground floor shops, but we don't mind that. It gives us a bit of peace to get the sewing and packing done. The industrial estate is a huge place with a lot of different units. You can hear the constant hum of machines from almost every door you pass in the hallway. We’ve been in Nahur for a while now. Our unit is filled with fabric and thread most of the time. It’s a working space, not a fancy showroom. We spend our hours cutting, stitching, and checking the garments we make. It’s hard work and it can get quite hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months when the air doesn't move much. But we just keep the fans going and stay on task. The people who work here have been together for a long time, so we have a good rhythm. We don't really have a fancy philosophy or any mission. We just make clothes. If you come up to the second floor of Vishal Industrial Estate, you’ll find us there amongst all the other working units. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment and that suits us just fine. We just take it one day at a time and keep sewing.
