Bandra West is always busy, but our spot near the Mount Mary steps feels a bit different. We are at Sea Beach View on Kadeshwari Road, so we get that salty air coming in when the wind is right. The shop is small, just G2 and G4, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. Some days the tourists walking up to the church stop by, and other days it’s just the regulars who live in the nearby buildings. It’s a steep walk up those steps, so people are usually a bit tired when they poke their heads in. We spend most of our time sorting through the racks and checking the stitching on the new arrivals. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but it works for what we do. We don't have a big team or a fancy office; it’s just us handling the stock and talking to whoever comes in. Sometimes the rain gets so heavy that we have to put bags near the door, but that’s just part of being in Mumbai near the coast. We’ve got clothes everywhere, and the back room is basically just a mountain of boxes right now. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a big delivery, but we sort it out eventually. We aren't trying to be some high-end boutique; we just sell what we have and try to keep things moving along. It is a simple life by the sea, really.
