You can find us at the Thacker Industrial Estate on N. M. Joshi Marg. We are in unit number 1 D. Since we are in an industrial estate, it’s not the quietest place to work. There’s a lot of truck movement and people hauling rolls of cloth around. Inside our unit, the sewing machines are the main sound you hear all day long. We make all sorts of apparel, and the floor is usually covered in thread and fabric cuttings. We’ve got a good group of workers who show up early and stay late when we have big orders to finish. It’s a very practical environment with rows of tables and bright lights overhead. We don't spend much on decor because we’re here to produce clothing, not look pretty. Lunch breaks are usually taken together on the benches outside or in the corner of the workspace. It’s a bit of a maze with all the stacks of finished garments waiting to be shipped out. Dealing with logistics on N. M. Joshi Marg can be a headache sometimes because of the traffic, but we manage. We aren't a big corporate office with fancy meetings. We’re just a garment factory making sure the clothes are put together correctly and packed up on time. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do every day.
