M.T. Exports

If you have ever been down to Masjid Bunder, you know how it gets. M.T. Exports is right in the middle of that whole mess at 45, Nakhoda Street. It is on the corner near Abdul Rehman Street and the noise never really stops. You have handcarts clattering over the stones and people shouting to get through the crowd. We spend most of our mornings just trying to get the shutters up without hitting a passing bike. The office isn't much to look at, just some desks and a lot of folders stacked up on the shelves. We handle the paperwork and make sure the goods are moving where they need to go. Exporting stuff involves a lot of waiting on phones and checking lists twice. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that is the best part of the hour. We do not have much space for anything extra. Every square inch of the place is used for something. Nakhoda Street has a certain smell to it, a mix of spices and exhaust fumes, and it stays with you. We have been at this address for a long time now. We know the neighbors and we know which times of day the traffic is going to be impossible. It is a bit of a grind, dealing with the heat and the crowds, but it is just how we do things here. We just focus on getting the crates out and the documents signed correctly.
