Monicomp

If you know Lamington Road at all, then you know it can be a bit of a maze. We are located at 52-B, right on the ground floor of the Chotani Building. It is near the Grant Hotel and Luxmi Cinema Street, which usually helps people find the shop if they get lost in the crowds of Gandhi Nagar. Monicomp has been operating out of this small space for a good amount of time. It is definitely not a big, shiny showroom like you see in malls. Instead, it is a very practical workspace filled with spare parts, old boxes, and various tools. We spend most of our time on our feet, dealing with customers who come in looking for very specific computer components or needing a quick repair. The whole area is always buzzing with people searching for electronics, and we are right in the thick of it every day. It gets a bit overwhelming with the constant noise from the street, but you get used to it after working here for a week or two. We do not have a marketing team; it is just us making sure things get fixed or sold the right way. The ground floor location is quite handy because we do not have to lug heavy monitors or towers up any stairs. We keep things simple and just try to be honest about what can actually be fixed. It is a small shop, and it gets messy when we are busy, but we know where every single screw is kept.
