Mohans & Mohans is on the 3rd floor of the Bank of India building right in Zaveri Bazar. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded and busy Zaveri Bazar gets. The building is an older one, and the stairs can be quite a climb if you aren't used to them. Up here on the third floor, it’s a bit quieter than the street level, but you can still hear the constant hum of the market below. We’ve been operating from this spot for many years. We handle various trading and business services that fit into the local ecosystem of the bazaar. Our office is filled with old wooden desks and stacks of ledgers that have been around forever. We don't believe in much technology beyond what is absolutely necessary. Most of our business is done through old-fashioned conversations and handshakes. We know almost everyone in the building and the neighboring shops. It’s a very traditional way of working, where your reputation matters more than a fancy website. We drink our cutting chai and handle our daily accounts just like our fathers did. There’s no corporate polish here, just a lot of experience and a lot of familiar faces. We see the same tea sellers and couriers every day. It’s a small, tight-knit world in this part of Mumbai, and we are happy to be a part of it.
