Modern Apparels

We're over at No. 220 in the Shanti Industrial Estate, which is on S. N. Road in Mulund West. It’s a busy place with a lot of other small businesses around us. Modern Apparels has been here for a long time, and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the constant movement of the industrial estate. Our space is just a regular unit where we do all our packing and sorting. We don't have a big, fancy office with air conditioning in every room. It’s a working environment, plain and simple. We have a few people who have been with us since the beginning. We don't really go for all those corporate slogans or mission statements. We just show up in the morning and see what needs to be finished by the end of the day. Mulund West is a good area, even if S. N. Road gets really crowded in the afternoons. We don't do much advertising. Mostly, we just stay busy with the work we have and don't worry too much about the rest. It’s a practical life, and we like the routine of it. We aren't trying to be some huge international brand. We are just Modern Apparels, working out of unit 220. It’s a straightforward business, and we try to keep it that way without making things too complicated. There isn't any secret to it, we just show up and do the work.
