Metro Dryfuits

Metro Dryfuits is located right on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road at numbers 454-455. It’s a pretty big space compared to some of the other shops nearby. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of walnuts, raisins, and almonds. We spend our time weighing out bags and checking the quality of the new batches that come in. The road outside is always packed with cars and people, so there is never a quiet moment. We’ve got large glass jars lining the walls and sacks sitting on the floor. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. We don’t use fancy computers for everything; sometimes a pen and paper are just faster. The lighting isn’t the best, but you can see the quality of the fruit just fine. We have some regulars who have been coming to us for years, and we always try to have a little conversation with them. It’s not just about selling stuff; it’s about being part of the street. We stay open late because that’s when a lot of people are heading home and want to pick something up. It’s a steady job and it keeps us busy. We don’t have a website or anything like that. If people want our dry fruits, they just come to the shop and see what we have that day. It's a simple business but it keeps us on our feet all day long.
