Meghdoot Refrigeration Industries Pvt.Ltd. is based over at 17 Kartik Complex. This is right on the New Link Road in Andheri (West), so as you can imagine, the traffic is almost always a nightmare. Getting to work in the morning takes longer than it should, but once we are inside the complex, things settle down a bit. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easier for moving the heavy cooling units and parts in and out. The workshop is usually full of tools and pieces of metal. It gets pretty loud when the guys are working on the assemblies. We have been in Andheri for quite some time, and the Kartik Complex has a lot of other businesses too, so there is always someone coming or going. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If you come to see us, you are going to see the actual work happening right there. It is a bit messy sometimes with all the parts lying around, but we know where everything is. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of desks and a computer that is a bit slow. We deal with refrigeration stuff all day, which is ironic because the warehouse gets really hot during the summer months. We just keep the fans going and try to stay on top of the orders that come in. It’s a busy life.
