You can find Meghaa Chavan right on S V Road in Goregaon West. If you know Mumbai, you know that S V Road is always moving, and it’s loud pretty much from sunrise until late at night. Our place is situated right in the middle of all that action. It's a convenient spot because the station isn't too far, though walking there in the monsoon is a whole different story with the puddles. We’ve been in Goregaon West for a long time, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit with all the new buildings going up. Inside our space, it’s a bit more relaxed than the street outside. We have a few desks and a small area where we keep our files and stuff. It isn’t a massive office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we can sit down and get our tasks sorted. Sometimes the noise from the traffic makes it hard to hear on the phone, but you get used to it after a while. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we don't have to deal with the longest commutes, which is a blessing in this city. We keep regular hours, opening up in the morning and closing down once the evening rush really kicks in. It’s a steady way to work, right here on one of the busiest roads in the suburbs. We just take things one day at a time and do our best.
