Our office for Meenaraj Impex Pvt. Ltd. is in the B Wing of the Royal Sand building. We are up on the fifth floor in Block-501A. Being in Shastri Nagar, right behind Citi Mall, means we are basically in the middle of everything. The traffic on New Link Road is usually a nightmare during rush hour, so most of us try to get in early or stay a bit late to avoid sitting in the car for hours. From our windows, you can see the back of the mall and all the delivery trucks coming in. It is a modern enough building, but the corridors always seem to have a bit of a draft. We have a lot of computers and filing cabinets taking up space. Sometimes the internet is slow and we all end up standing around the coffee machine waiting for a page to load. We handle a lot of different things coming from overseas, so there are always boxes or samples sitting in the corners. It is not the most organized looking place, but we know exactly where everything is located. The staff is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, whether it is answering the phone or checking a shipment list. It is a fast-paced environment, but we try to keep things relaxed. On Fridays, we usually order some food from the place downstairs and eat at our desks.
