Meeem Perfumes And Cosmetics is located at G-9 in the Metro Shopping Plaza. This is inside the Metro House building on Colaba Causeway. The shop is in a very busy part of Mumbai where there is always a lot of noise and people walking by. We have been here for a while now, surrounded by all the street vendors and old buildings. Our space isn't very large, but we keep it filled with all kinds of perfumes and different cosmetic items. Most days are spent unpacking new stock or helping someone find a scent they remember from years ago. It can get a bit crowded in the plaza during the weekends. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just shelves and bottles and us working behind the counter. Colaba is a unique place to have a business because you meet everyone from tourists to locals who have lived here forever. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Mumbai heat, but we make do. We focus on keeping the inventory updated so when people stop in, we actually have what they are looking for. It is a simple operation and we like being part of the daily life on the causeway. You can find us easily if you just look for the Metro House entrance. We open every morning and stay until the evening crowd starts to thin out. It is just a regular local shop.
