We are over here at Plot No. D-05 on Road Number 20 in Marol, MIDC. It’s a busy spot in Andheri East where things are always moving. Mebivan Fashion Private Limited started because we wanted to do something with clothes right here in the heart of the industrial area. It’s not fancy. The building is a bit old but it works for us. Most days it’s just us dealing with fabrics and getting things ready. Sometimes the traffic on the road is a real mess, especially during shift changes, but we manage. We aren’t a big factory with hundreds of people. We’re just a small group trying to keep the machines running and the orders going out. It gets hot in the afternoons but the tea guy comes around and that helps. People around here know us as the ones who stay late when there is work to finish. We don’t spend much time on fancy offices. We’d rather spend that time making sure the stitching is right. If you walk past the common area, you’ll probably see us unloading some rolls of cloth or checking the samples. It is honest work and we have been doing it for a while now. The address is easy to find if you know Marol well enough. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to keep things simple. Every day is different but mostly it is about getting the fabric cut and sewn.
