Mayank Creation

Mayank Creation is located inside the Zoom Plaza Mall. Our shop is G27, which is on the ground floor. Being in a mall in Borivali West is quite a different experience compared to a street shop. You have the air conditioning, which is a relief in the summer, but the constant music playing in the hallways can be a bit much. We open up when the mall opens and stay until the shutters go down at night. Borivali is a massive place, and this mall gets a lot of families, especially on the weekends. Our shop isn't huge, but there is enough space for the displays and to talk to the people who walk in. Most of our day is spent folding things, talking to customers, and keeping the place looking decent. Standing around happens a lot, but we keep ourselves busy. Instead of going to the food court upstairs, we usually bring our own tiffin from home. You see the same faces every day, from the other shopkeepers to the mall staff. It feels like a little community inside the building. Having been at this spot for a bit, we have seen stores come and go. Borivali West is always changing, but G27 is still our home. It is a straightforward retail job, nothing fancy or complicated. Most of the time, we just try to make sure people find what they need. Sometimes the mall is very quiet on Tuesday mornings, but that gives us time to restock.
