Maxx Clothing Company

Maxx Clothing Company is tucked away on the 3rd floor of the Manhar Building. It’s at 33 66/72 on the Subhanpura Main Road over in Kalbadevi. Being up on the third floor means we don't get as much street noise, which is nice for getting work finished. The building is an older one, so the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up again. We spend most of our time surrounded by boxes and fabric rolls. It’s a bit cramped sometimes but we’ve learned how to move around the stacks. We’ve been at this address for a decent amount of time. People find us mainly because they’ve heard about the spot from someone else. We don’t do much fancy talk here. We just show up, open the shutters, and get to work on the orders. Kalbadevi is always busy, so there is always something happening outside. Inside, it’s just the hum of the machines or us checking the inventory lists. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a quick break. Otherwise, it is just steady work. We aren't trying to be the biggest place on the road. We just want to stay consistent with what we do. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
