Matador Collection

We are up on the second floor, unit 203, in the Dharnidhar Industrial Estate. This is in Gandhi Gram. It is an industrial area, so there are always trucks moving and people loading things. The building itself is quite old and the stairs are a bit steep. We have the Matador Collection here. It is mostly boxes and stock piled up to the ceiling. Working in an industrial estate means you hear the sounds of machines or heavy work from the units next door. It is not a place where many random people walk in; it is mostly people coming for specific items. The air can be a bit heavy with the smell of cardboard and whatever is being made nearby. We spend our time checking orders and making sure everything is where it should be. The windows look out over more rooftops and industrial sheds. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, especially being on the second floor. We have a small table where we do most of the paperwork. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the industrial activity outside, so we are always wiping things down. It is a quiet place in terms of visitors but loud in terms of the environment. We just get on with the day's tasks until it is time to lock the big metal door and go home. That is how we do things.
