Master Threads (India) Ltd. is tucked into 2B / G-1, Green Meadows, over in the Lokhandwala Township area of Kandivali-East. It’s a bit of a residential feel around here, which is nice compared to the heavy industrial zones. We deal with threads, so our space is often filled with boxes and cones of every color you can think of. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, especially when a new shipment arrives. We have to be careful with the organization, or we’d never find anything. The staff here is mostly local, and we’ve all grown accustomed to the commute and the local shops nearby. We don’t have a big fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll see us working at our desks or checking the inventory in the back. We try to keep things simple. There’s no need for complicated systems when a good notebook and some common sense will do. We’ve been in Kandivali for a while and have seen the township grow up around us. It’s a busy life, but it’s a good one. We just focus on getting the right thread to the right person at the right time. There’s no magic to it, just staying organized and showing up every morning. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other days it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside in Green Meadows. We like it that way and just try to keep things moving along steadily.
