N. S. Fashion

We are located at Shop No. 11 in Colaba Market, right on Samuel Street. It’s a busy part of Masjid Bunder West and things get pretty crowded here most days. The shop isn’t very big but we keep it filled with as much stock as we can fit on the shelves. Most mornings start with moving a few boxes around just so there is enough room for people to walk in and look at what we have. We’ve been at No. 146/152 for a while now and the neighbors know us well. It gets loud outside with the handcarts and people shouting, but that is just how the market works. Sometimes the lights flicker when the weather is bad, and we just keep the doors open to let the air in. We deal with all sorts of fashion items and people come from all over the area to see what is new. It isn’t fancy here. We have some stools for sitting and a lot of hangers. Dealing with suppliers takes up a lot of our time, especially when the deliveries show up late because of the traffic on Samuel Street. We just try to get the work done and make sure the piles of clothes don’t fall over. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sorting through a fresh shipment or talking to the regular customers who stop in just to say hello. It is a simple life in a fast place.
