Maru Dry Fruit General Store

Maru Dry Fruit General Store is located in Andheri East, right on Old Nagardas Road in Haresh Nivas, Sector 7. This part of Andheri is always packed with people, so there is never a dull moment outside our door. We carry a bit of everything, from the usual dry fruits like pistachios to everyday household items that people need in a hurry. The shelves are packed pretty high because we try to fit a lot into a small space. It’s the kind of place where you have to move a box of soap to get to the packets of almonds. We spend a lot of our time unpacking deliveries and trying to find room for everything. The floor is a bit uneven and the lighting isn't the brightest, but it’s our workplace and we’re used to it. Most of the people who come in live right here in the neighborhood, so we end up chatting about the weather or the traffic on Nagardas Road while we bag their items. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes, especially when the morning rush starts and everyone wants something different at the same time. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a straightforward store where we keep the essentials. The building itself, Haresh Nivas, has been here for years, and we’ve become a part of the daily life for the folks around Sector 7. We just show up, open the shutters, and stay busy until the sun goes down.
