Mangalore Trading Company

Mangalore Trading Company is located at 9 Abbas Mansion, which is right near the Idol Book Depot. We are on the 16th Main, specifically at the Tavareker Main Road section in Dadar West. It’s a very busy neighborhood with people always rushing to the station or the market nearby. Our shop is where we handle various trading goods, often stuff coming in from out of town. The smell of the market is always in the air here. Abbas Mansion is an older building, so it has a bit of character and some narrow hallways that get blocked easily. We have crates and sacks of goods coming in almost every morning. Our team is small, just a few of us who have worked together for many years. We know the other shopkeepers on Tavareker Main Road well, and we often share news over a quick lunch. The shop floor is usually covered in some packaging material or dust from the street. We don’t really bother with fancy displays; we just put the stock out where people can see it. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and checking lists. Dadar West is the kind of place where you have to be quick, or you’ll get in someone’s way. We like being part of this daily chaos. It feels like real work. People know they can find us here from early morning until the shops start closing up at night when things finally get quiet and the street lights come on.
