Mane Jaggery

Mane Jaggery is tucked away in the Apurva Building at Plot No. 1, right in Room No. 1. If you know where Vijay Talkies is near Chembur Naka, we are very close to that. It’s a busy area and there is always something going on outside. We deal with jaggery, which means the place often has that sweet, heavy smell that sticks to everything. It’s a small space, nothing too big, just enough to store what we need and handle the daily walk-ins. People around Chembur Naka usually know the spot because of the old theater nearby. The building itself is just a standard place, and we’ve been in Room 1 for quite some time. It gets a bit crowded when we have fresh stock coming in because the bags are heavy and take up a lot of room. We don't have any flashy signs or anything. It is mostly just about getting the product in and getting it out to the people who need it. Some days the traffic at the Naka is so bad it takes forever to get anything delivered, but that is just how it is living and working in this part of the city. We are just local people doing a regular job. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the blocks and making sure the numbers match up. We stay busy with the local trade and don't worry about much else besides the daily stock.
